Etsimme miehiä, jotka ovat halukkaita pyhään saarnavirkaan

What we believe

We believe in a good God. He is the Father who has created the whole world and preserves it. Because of sin man is separated from God and His goodness and deserves damnation.

We believe in God's Son, Jesus Christ, whom God gave to atone for sin. Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit from Virgin Mary. He fulfilled God's law, suffered and died on the cross on behalf of all sinners. He rose victorious from the dead and ascended to God in heaven. By faith in Him we have access to God. Jesus will come back to raise the dead and to judge all. Unbelievers will be damned and believers will live eternally with God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit. He speaks in the Bible which is the word of God. Through the word and sacraments the Holy Spirit creates and preserves faith. God calls us to gather as a congregation around these means of grace.
